Motorcycle brake lights don’t light up, what’s going on

There are three reasons why motorcycle brake lights do not turn on.

1. The light bulb is damaged. The brake light bulb of the motorcycle is easy to burn out. If the brake light does not turn on, it is best to check the brake light bulb first.

2. Switch problem. If one of the front and rear brakes is on, it may be that the brake switch is damaged or improperly adjusted. The fault can be eliminated as long as it is properly adjusted or replaced with a new one.

3. Line failure, if the above two problems are not the source of the failure, you should check that the connecting wire may be open at a certain connection point.

When troubleshooting this kind of malfunction, you should first observe whether the front and rear brake lights are not on, if they are not on, or there is a problem with the wiring. If only one of the brake lights does not light, it indicates that there is a problem with the switch, just adjust and check the switch. In addition, if the brake bulb and the lamp holder are not in good contact, it will not work properly, so be sure to observe whether the lamp holder is normal when checking the bulb.
